DOCK IN 02 is the second office building in the successful DOCK IN development project in Prague’s Libeň district. The building offers approximately 8,500 m² of space, combining offices, shops and an 85-bay underground car park. It is a major landmark in this area of former shipyards. The original contouring designed by Schindler Seko architekti and the unique cascading shape and terraces covering an area of more than 350 m² mean that each floor has its own outdoor space with a direct view of the marina and the quiet zone around two blind arms of the Vltava.

 

DOCK IN 03 is a seven-storey office block with a wavy façade and 180 m² of terraces. The façade is composed of continuous horizontal parapet ledges in a black-and-white combination. Between these ledges, windows formed by the frame of the light cladding are inserted. Thanks to the geometry of the façade’s folds, terraces are created along its entire length. They serve to articulate the façade while giving it an extra function. The new L-shaped building offers 15,000 m² of rentable office space and another 1,500 m² of commercial space for restaurants and services. The project also includes a nearby one-hectare recreational park, a running track, and a footbridge directly connecting the entire site with Libeň Bridge. The building has three basement levels, which are used for parking and for the complex’s technical and storage facilities. The building was designed with a view to being awarded prestigious worldwide LEED Gold certification for sustainable projects.
